Everton 1-1 Arsenal: Iliman Ndiaye penalty cancels out Leandro Trossard's opener as Gunners are held to a point in blow to fading title hopes

Arsenal were forced to settle for a point at Everton in the latest blow to their fading Premier League title dream after Iliman Ndiaye's equaliser from the penalty spot.

Leandro Trossard fired Mikel Arteta's side into the lead on 34 minutes after combining with Raheem Sterling and slotting low across Jordan Pickford.

But the hosts hit back after the break, Ndiaye keeping his cool to convert his spot-kick after Myles Lewis-Skelly tangled with Jack Harrison inside the box.

The result leaves Arsenal 11 points adrift of runaway leaders Liverpool.
