Everton 0-1 Wolves: Things go from bad to worse for Toffees as late Sasa Kalajdzic strike earns Gary O'Neil his first win to leave Sean Dyche's side bottom of the Premier League

A fairytale winner for Wolves substitute Sala Kalajdzic was greeted with sullenness rather than outright mutiny from Everton fans who no longer believe in miracles from their own team.

The 6ft7ins giant Kalajdzic, who played only once for Wolves last season before suffering a dreadful ACL injury, headed the only goal after 87 minutes – less than two minutes after replacing Matheus Cunha.

It earned Wolves their first win of the season and as a result left Everton bottom without a point or goal of their own.

The most telling thing was the reaction of the Evertonians who pride themselves on passion.
