Everton in the Community (EitC) will be marking its 29th birthday at the Blues’ home fixture against Bournemouth this weekend, by celebrating its unique relationship with The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre.
The two charities will be coming together on World Cancer Day to help kick-start The Clatterbridge Centre’s ‘Go Green Campaign’, as well as recognising EitC’s work in the local community for almost three decades.
To mark the occasion, players will be warming up in a mixture of both charity’s t-shirts and fans will be able to get their hands on the joint venture scratch-card, which is hoped will help raise £90,000 over three years to help build a new specialist cancer hospital in the heart of Liverpool.
