An Ecuador supporter attending the opening match of the Qatar World Cup was involved in a momentary altercation with host nation supporters inside the stadium on Sunday.
Qatar suffered defeat in their first-ever World Cup fixture as Ecuador ran out two-nil victors in front of a packed crowd at the Al Bayt Stadium in Al Khor.
Former Everton striker Enner Valencia scored twice inside the first-half to secure an important group a victory for the South American side in Qatar.
But one Ecuador supporter who had travelled to the match was given a quick telling off by Qatar supporters sat near him as he celebrated his team's success.
