Dominic Calvert-Lewin joined in with those laughing at the shin pads he wore against San Marino, amusingly joking on Twitter he had stuffed custard creams down his socks.
Calvert-Lewin netted twice for England on Thursday night as they thrashed minnows San Marino 5-0 at Wembley, with James Ward-Prowse, Raheem Sterling and Ollie Watkins also getting on the scoresheet.
But despite his goal-scoring heroics, it was Calvert-Lewin's choice of shin pads that garnered most of the attention at Wembley.

Football fans flocked to social media to poke fun at his shin pads, and after clearly being made aware of the jokes, the Everton striker himself decided to get involved.
