Dean Smith has been taking his Aston Villa players back to the days when trophies were a part of the furniture.
This week he's been showing them video clips of moments such as Chris Nicholl's 30-yard strike past David Lawson in the 1977 League Cup final second replay against Everton.
He wanted to let the Villa squad know how beating Manchester City on Sunday would feel.
Aston Villa manager Dean Smith says winning or losing Carabao Cup final won't define season
'He talks about Jim Pearson coming towards him and dropping his right shoulder, then Bob Latchford and dropping his left shoulder, and he had no more shoulders to drop so he decided to hit it from 40 yards,' the Villa manager said of Nicholl, one of the club's most loved legends.
