DEAL DONE! Davy Klaassen joins Everton for £23.5million as Toffees continue summer spending spree

Everton have confirmed the £23.5million signing of Davy Klaassen from Ajax to add to the club-record fee they splashed on Sunderland goalkeeper Jordan Pickford.

The Toffees announced the completion of Pickford's signing, with the England Under-21 international becoming the most expensive British goalkeeper in history after joining for £30million, before later confirming Klaassen had agreed a five-year deal.

The 24-year-old attacking midfielder played in Ajax's Europa League final defeat to Manchester United and becomes Ronald Koeman's second big-money acquisition on Thursday.
