Crystal Palace to revive interest in Everton midfielder James McCarthy in January transfer window

Crystal Palace will revive their bid to sign James McCarthy from Everton in January.

The Selhurst Park club had lined up a season-long loan for the Republic of Ireland international on deadline day and agreed to pay a £3million loan fee.

The deal fell apart though when Everton's bid to sign Moussa Sissoko from Newcastle collapsed.
