Clean Sheet For Galloway

Brendan Galloway marked his league debut for West Bromwich Albion with a clean sheet as the Baggies played out a goalless draw with Middlesbrough.

The 20-year-old defender, who joined Tony Pulis’ side on a season-long loan last week, played the full game at left-back as he experienced the Hawthorns as a home player for the first time.

Galloway had the best chance of the first half, surging forward before eventually striking tamely at Boro goalkeeper Brad Guzan.

The second half played out in similarly even fashion, with very few clear chances of note.

In the Championship, Luke Garbutt could not prevent Wigan Athletic from falling to a 1-0 home defeat to Queens Park Rangers.
