Todd Boehly and Clearlake Capital could turn to Frank Lampard as interim boss for the remainder of the season, it has been claimed.
Lampard was in attendance at Stamford Bridge on Tuesday night to watch Chelsea draw 0-0 with Liverpool in the first game of the post-Graham Potter era.
Having sacked the former Brighton boss on Sunday, his former assistant Bruno Saltor took charge of first team duties for the evening - and seems likely to remain in post until a permanent replacement is found.
However, The Sun have reported that Chelsea could instead turn to Lampard, who was sacked as Everton boss earlier this year.
