Burnley agree deal to sign winger Aaron Lennon from Everton

Everton midfielder Aaron Lennon has left the club after the Toffees and Burnley agreed a deal for the player for an undisclosed fee.

The winger made the move after the Merseyside club completed the £20million signing of Theo Walcott from Arsenal earlier this week.

The 30-year-old, who joined the Toffees from Tottenham in September 2015 after a successful loan spell with Everton in the second part of the 2014/15 season.

Most recently, Lennon hit the headlines after he was detained in May 2017 under the Mental Health Act over fears for his welfare.
