Bolasie Shortlisted For Award

Everton’s Yannick Bolasie is on the 30-man shortlist for the African Footballer of the Year Award 2016.

The winger, signed from Crystal Palace in the summer to bolster Ronald Koeman’s attacking options, made his Blues debut off the bench against West Bromwich Albion in August and has started every Premier League game since, providing three assists so far.

The DR Congo international, who has 30 caps and six goals for his nation, will face competition from the likes of last year's winner, Borussia Dortmund striker Pïerre-Emerick Aubameyang, as well as Leicester City’s Riyad Mahrez, Manchester United defender Eric Bailly and nine other Premier League stars.
