Manager Ronald Koeman is confident there’s enough firepower within his squad to mount a serious charge for a top-six spot in the Premier League.
The Blues boss bolstered his attacking options in the January transfer window with a swoop for teenage forward Ademola Lookman, who has impressed the manager in his three substitute appearances so far.
Lookman’s arrival, coupled with the form of Kevin Mirallas and the emergence of teenage striker Dominic Calvert-Levin, who is near to a return from injury, means the manager has a range of different attacking options to supplement the threat of leading scorer Romelu Lukaku.
