Dele Alli's career has suffered another setback after he was singled out by the Besiktas manager for performing 'below expectations'.

Alli has found himself in the Turkish Super Lig after his seven-year stint at Spurs came to an end in January and he was sold to Everton. After failing to impress Frank Lampard, he was loaned to the Black Eagles.

The move was intended to reignite the 26-year-old's career but those hopes look to be dwindling after Senol Gunes' recent comments.

Speaking ahead of their grudge match with Galatasaray, Gunes said: 'I couldn't affect the players [yet], now I can easily touch them, but we haven't touched Dele Alli yet.
