Bert Llewellyn Passes Away

It is with great sadness that Everton has learned of the passing of former player Bert Llewellyn.

Bert passed away on Thursday, aged 77. He played 11 games for the Blues between 1956 and 1958, scoring twice, including on his debut against Blackpool at Goodison Park.

A striker, he went on to play for Crewe Alexandra, Port Vale, Northampton Town, Walsall and Wigan Athletic, where he was a prolific scorer.

The thoughts of everyone at Everton are with Bert’s family and friends at this difficult time.
