Apollon Limassol 0-3 Everton: Ademola Lookman hits brace as youthful Toffees cruise to victory

Ademola Lookman has yet to kick on from the blistering start he made to his Everton career but here in Cyprus he gave Sam Allardyce a timely reminder of his talent ahead of Sunday’s derby.

Apollon Limassol are not Liverpool and yet the quality of Lookman’s two goals should still be recognised by Allardyce, who was watching back home and is considering how best to tackle Jurgen Klopp’s side.

In this form, Lookman would be a serious asset off the bench, just as he was when scoring his only other goal for Everton in January.
