Anthony Gordon passed his medical at Newcastle United on Saturday ahead of confirming his £45million move from Everton.

The 21-year-old will become the club’s second most expensive signing with the deal an initial £40m plus £5m in bonuses.

Everton want to bring in another forward but have also shown interest in signing Rodrigo Becao from Udinese.
