Andre Gomes joined Everton from Barcelona on transfer-deadline day in August 2018.
The Portugal international was an influential member of his country’s European Championship-winning squad in 2016.
Midfielder Gomes won league titles with Benfica and Barcelona and was instrumental to the Portuguese club’s run to the Europa League final in 2013.
He played regular Champions League football for Benfica, Valencia and Barca before his move to Goodison Park after being handed a full debut in the competition for his first club at Barcelona’s Nou Camp in December 2012.
Gomes signed for Benfica as an 18-year-old in 2011 and quickly muscled his way into the first-team frame.
