Sam Allardyce has been inducted into the LMA 1000 Club and Hall of Fame.
The Everton boss will become only the 31st manager to reach the landmark of taking charge of 1,000 competitive matches in the modern era when the Blues face West Bromwich Albion on Saturday at Goodison Park.
Starting out as player-manager of League of Ireland side Limerick, Allardyce moved back to England to take charge of Blackpool in July 1994 before lifting the Division Three title with Notts County.
He moved on to Bolton Wanderers, turning the Trotters from Championship strugglers into a Premier League force and European qualifiers, before spells at Newcastle United, Blackburn Rovers, West Ham United and Sunderland.
