Sam Allardyce says Theo Walcott will add “a very important ingredient” and “great firepower” to his Everton squad.
England international Walcott penned a three-and-a-half-year deal with the Blues on Wednesday, having scored 108 goals in 396 games for former club Arsenal.
The 28-year-old also netted 19 goals in 2016/17, making him the third highest English scorer in all competitions.
And two weeks after signing striker Cenk Tosun from Beskitas, Allardyce is confident Walcott will provide another attacking dimension to his team.
“His goals (tally) is exceptionally good for a player from a wide position,” said the Everton manager during a press conference on Friday.
