Ajax want £21million for captain Davy Klaassen.
The attacking midfielder has been the subject of interest from several Premier League clubs with Everton among them.
Klaassen, who has scored 15 goals this season, hopes to guide Ajax to another Dutch title as they chase leaders Feyenoord and finish with a Europa League final potentially against Manchester United.
