After 119 games, Romelu Lukaku is the only player to have scored a hat-trick... but is this the worst return for trebles in the Premier League era?

Romelu Lukaku's 11-minute hat-trick for Everton against Sunderland in September is still the only Premier League treble this season, marking the joint-lowest return for three-goal hauls since 1992.

The Belgian striker's treble in the 3-0 win at the Stadium of Light in gameweek four is still the only one in 119 games this term, but there have only been 34 braces to offset the notion there has been a dearth of one-man shows.

Yaya Toure, Harry Kane and Victor Anichebe became the latest players to score doubles, but none of them were able to find the net one more time to claim the match ball.
