EVANSVILLE, Ind. – Three finals finished in favor of the Purple Aces as the University of Evansville women's tennis team completed the Evansville Metro Collegiate Invite at Wesselman Park on Sunday afternoon.
At #1 singles, it was a battle between Diana Tkachenko and Chieko Yamada. Tkachenko pulled off the win in three sets, 6-4, 4-6, 6-2, on her way to the championship.
Daria Pentsova took care of business in the second flight. Squaring off against Ashley Jonathan of Bellarmine, Pentsova won, 6-3, 6-3. Final Results Another all Aces contest took place in the third flight between Andrea Pascual-Larrinaga and Marie Kapelevich as Pascual-Larrinaga was able to get the win, 6-2, 6-3.
