EVANSVILLE, Ind. – The University of Evansville women's soccer program wrapped up the 2020-21 season with highlights and accomplishments across the board.
With eight games begin played during the season the Purple Aces posted five shutouts with all three goalkeepers recording a shutout, while also avoiding dropping back-to-back games.
Evansville's defense had a standout year, finishing the season ranked second in the country in save percentage (.936), third in goals-against-average (.342) and 15th in shutout percentage (.0625), while also ranking first in the Missouri Valley Conference in goals-against-average.
