JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - On the final day of the Benbow Invitational, the University of Evansville women's golf team moved up the leaderboard on Tuesday afternoon at Blue Sky Golf Club in Jacksonville, Fla.
Entering the final round, the Aces sat in a tie for seventh after a 323 in the opening round. Evansville improved its positioning in the second round, recording a 310 as a team for a two-round total of 633, placing the Aces in a tie for fifth.
Senior Sydney Anderson led Evansville in the invitational, marking a five-stroke improvement on the second day with a 73 for a tournament-total of 151 (78-73).
