EVANSVILLE – Every day is an opportunity to get better for the University of Evansville women's basketball team as they head into the second week of preseason practice on Monday.
The Purple Aces, who are aiming to rebound from a 3-28 campaign a season ago, are experiencing a number of changes is this year's preseason, brought about by a new head coach and a pair of new assistant coaches.
"These first few practices have gone very well," UE interim head coach Matt Ruffing said. "The girls did a really good job over the summer, especially in terms of getting stuff in on offense and defense.
