EVANSVILLE, Ind. --- The University of Evansville women's basketball team travels to Iowa for a pair of road Missouri Valley Conference contests this weekend. The Purple Aces open the weekend against UNI at 7 p.m. on Friday night in Cedar Falls, Iowa before traveling to Des Moines, Iowa to face Drake at 1 p.m. on Sunday.
A full week separates the Aces from their last competition when Evansville fell to Indiana State, 56-48, in a defensive struggle in Terre Haute last Friday night. The Aces controlled the opening half, taking a 25-15 lead to the halftime break.
