EVANSVILLE — After helping the University of Evansville women's basketball team to its first two wins of the season last week, senior guard Camary Williams earned national recognition for her efforts on Monday as she was named one of three national players of the week by College Sports Madness.

Williams, a native of Ft. Myers, Fla., was exceptional on both ends of the floor for the Purple Aces, beginning Wednesday as she sank eight free throws and helped the team hold off a late Valparaiso surge for a 70-65 victory.
