EVANSVILLE – Professional soccer will return to Evansville on March 10 as the University of Evansville and Arad McCutchan Stadium will play host to an exhibition match between Louisville City FC and Saint Louis FC. Kickoff is set for 4 p.m.
The match, which will serve as the final preseason friendlies for each team, will be the third professional contest in the history of the stadium. Last season, nearly 1,000 people came to campus as Louisville City battled Indy Eleven to a 1-1 draw.
Louisville City enjoyed its most successful season in club history in 2017 as LCFC captured its first USL Cup with a 1-0 victory over Swope Park Rangers.
