Track & Field Register Points During Day Two of MVC Championship

CARBONDALE, Ill. – The University of Evansville track and field team tally points in day two of the Missouri Valley Conference Outdoor Championship.

Taiza Alexander broke her own school record in the women's long jump to earn eighth place in the event at a 5.53-meter mark.

Joey Rucinski earned a personal best 5,695-points in the decathlon, finishing in seventh place. Rucinski earned first place in the decathlon shot put at 11.77m and the 1,500-meter run at 4:57.97.

Also competing was Kylee Peck in the women's high jump, where she finished in 10th place at 1.
