EVANSVILLE, Ind. – The University of Evansville track and field teams take the next step in the indoor season, Friday at the EIU Friday Night Special.
- The Purple Aces will travel to Charleston, Ill. for the second meet of the indoor season. Competing against five other teams, including host school Eastern Illinois, Bradley, Indiana State, Illinois State and Western Illinois.
- UE will start the day with the women's weight throw at 11 a.m., while running events will start at 4:30 p.m. with the 60-meter prelims.
- Last time out the Aces competed at the John Garland Invitational, setting four new school records, highlighted by Anna Lowry who posted a sub five-minute mile (4:58.
