EVANSVILLE, Ind. - After a successful indoor season, the University of Evansville men's and women's track and field teams begin their outdoor seasons on Saturday at the Stan Lyons Invitational in Indianapolis, Ind.
The Aces concluded the indoor season at the 2019 Missouri Valley Conference championships, earning a ninth-place finish on the men's side, while Evansville's women finished 10th.
On the women's side, sophomore distance runner Anna Lowry shattered the school mark in the women's 3000 meters with a time of 10:09.63. The women's 4 x 400 relay team ran its fastest time of the season by almost ten seconds, on its way to breaking the program record by 5 seconds, with a time of 4:17.
