EVANSVILLE, Ind. – Due to inclement weather in the forecast for Chattanooga, Tennessee, the University of Evansville softball team has announced an updated opponent and location for the weekend due to the cancellation of the Frost Classic.
The Purple Aces will now travel to Decatur, Ill. to face Green Bay. A 4-game series will be on tap on the campus of Millikin University. The Purple Aces and Phoenix will open up the series on Saturday with a doubleheader at 11 a.m. with Sunday's action beginning at 10 a.m.
UE opened its season last weekend, going 2-2 at the Black & Gold Tournament in Montgomery, Alabama.
