Game One (PDF) - Game Two (PDF)

NORMAN, Okla. – The bats came alive on Friday for the University of Evansville softball team, but they dropped the opening two games of the Courtyard Marriott Tournament, hosted by the University of Oklahoma.

Evansville (4-7) fell to Western Kentucky by a 9-4 score in the first game of the day before dropping a 13-3 game to the 9th-ranked Sooners to finish off the night.

Pitcher Morgan Florey helped her own cause in the bottom of the first inning as she laced a 2-RBI double to left center to put the opening two runs on the board.
