OREM, Utah - The University of Evansville men's soccer team battled in its final match in Utah, falling to UNLV, 4-1, in Orem, Utah on Sunday afternoon.
The Rebels scored first on a pair of goals in quick succession. In the 15th minute, Marco Gonzalez opened the scoring in the match, recording the first goal of the game following a ball played over the top that Gonzalez finished. One minute later, Gonzalez scored again, this time on a pair of assists as he found the end of a cross.
Evansville tallied its first goal of the season in the 26th minute.
