Slow start hinders Aces in loss to UNI

EVANSVILLE, Ind. - Falling behind early, the University of Evansville women's basketball team fell to UNI, 74-46, on Friday evening inside Meeks Family Fieldhouse.

Leading the way for the Aces, junior Kaylan Coffman scored a game-high 12 points and tallied seven rebounds in 24 minutes off the bench. For the second-straight game, freshman Sydney Tucker set a career-high in scoring, recording a team-best 11 points. For the Panthers, Abby Gerrits finished with 11 points and six rebounds and was joined in double-figures by Karli Rucker, who had 10 points.

Of Evansville's 46 points on the evening, 30 were scored by the Aces' bench.
