ST. LOUIS – In a season that saw him average 22.1 points per game while scoring 20 points or more on 18 occasions, University of Evansville junior Ryan Taylor was named to the All-Missouri Valley Conference First Team on Tuesday.
The Gary, Ind. native has been on an absolute roll in the last nine games, averaging 26.0 points while pushing his season average to a league-best 22.1. He ranks 13th in the nation with his average. As the top scorer in the league, Taylor helped UE extend its streak to five years in a row of having the conference's leading scorer.
