LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Surpassing a number of school records, the University of Evansville men's and women's track and field teams continued to perform well at the Bellarmine Classic in Louisville, Ky.
The highlight of the second day of competition for the Aces came in the women's 4x400 meters as Evansville broke a program record. The team of Haylee Harmeyer, Skylar Tucker, Monica Watkins, and Haley Dean finished first in the event in a time of 4:08.82, toppling the previous program record by more than two seconds.
On the men's side, Ricky Hendrix captured a third place finish in the 3000 meter steeplechase.
