EVANSVILLE, Ind. – Fastpitch News (FPN) unveiled its FPN 2017 Preseason TOP 50 NCAA Softball Pitchers. The ranking was derived from numerous statistics to formulate a total score. The strength of schedule was also taken into account for more grueling schedules.
University of Evansville sophomore Morgan Florey was 33rd on the list of 50 NCAA pitchers. Florey was one of two Missouri Valley Conference pitchers named to the list as Drake's Nicole Newman was picked 46th.
