EVANSVILLE, Ind. - Playing its second of three-straight Tuesday evening non-conference matches at home, the University of Evansville welcomes in Lipscomb for a matchup at 6 p.m. in Evansville.
The Purple Aces are coming off a week that saw them earn a 2-2 draw with Butler before battling and falling to Central Arkansas on the road, 3-2. To open the weekend, Evansville took a 1-0 advantage over the Bulldogs on Tuesday night before Butler responded with a pair of goals to take a 2-1 lead. In the 80th minute, freshman Ryan Harris clipped a shot from sophomore Filip Johansson into the back of the net sending the match to overtime in the 2-2 tie.
