ST. LOUIS, Mo. –After earning its second-straight 10-win season, the University of Evansville men's soccer team placed four student-athletes on the Missouri Valley Conference Scholar-Athlete team, it was announced in a release by the conference office on Wednesday.
The Scholar-Athlete team, which is selected annually from a pool of athletes that boast of a 3.2 grade-point-average or better, features 14 players from around the conference with a further two taking home an honorable mention. In order to qualify, a player must have appeared in at least 75% of his team's matches and reached sophomore status in eligibility.
