OXFORD, Ohio - Setting a new school record, the University of Evansville men's swimming and diving team competed well on the second night of competition on Tuesday evening at the 2019 MAC Swimming and Diving Championships in Oxford, Ohio.
Tightly contested, the Aces currently sit in fifth-place at the championships with a team score of 117, just nine points back of fourth-place Ball State. Host Miami (Ohio) holds a narrow 326-323 lead over Missouri State for the lead after two days of competition.
In the opening finals event of the evening in the pool, Evansville saw freshman Oskar Menkhaus set a new school record in the 500 yard freestyle.
