Ian McGrath enjoyed a breakout season for the University of Evansville men's soccer team this past fall, and he earned yet another honor on Friday as the junior midfielder was named to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America Scholar All-America Second Team.
McGrath, the first double-digit goal-scorer for the Purple Aces in over a decade, found the back of the net 11 times over the course of the season to help lead the team to the second-largest single-season improvement in school history. UE ended the year with a 10-8-3 record and in the semifinals of the Missouri Valley Conference tournament.
