ST. LOUIS, Mo. – University of Evansville senior softball player Mackenzie McFeron (Nashville, Ill./Nashville) has been named to the Missouri Valley Conference's Scholar-Athlete first team in a vote of the league's sports information directors for her work both on the diamond and in the classroom.
On the field, McFeron earned all-MVC second-team honors after a year in which she finished second on the team in batting average at .295. McFeron is currently tied for sixth in the MVC in triples with three. She also led UE in league play with a .324 average, which ranked in the top 25 in the conference.
