Matthew Graves has made that a priority in his career and those lessons have led him to the biggest stage in college basketball.
Graves is a native of Switz City, Indiana, which is just over an hour away from Evansville. Following a playing career that saw him help to transform Butler into one of the top mid-major programs in the nation, Graves spent 12 years on the Bulldogs coaching staff before embarking on a 5-year tenure as the head coach at the University of South Alabama.
