ST. LOUIS – The Missouri Valley Conference/Mountain West Challenge is back in 2016-17 as the University of Evansville men's basketball team will travel to New Mexico for a contest on Wednesday, November 29, 2017. It will mark the first-ever meeting on the hardwood between the two programs.
All 10 games in the series will take place within a six-day span in late November/early December. The agreement between the Mountain West and Missouri Valley conferences is in the third year of a four-year term.
This past year, the Mountain West Conference and Missouri Valley Conference split the 10-game series, 5-5.
