LOUIS, Mo. - After an impressive season athletically, University of Evansville women's cross country sophomore Anna Lowry was awarded for her performance in thew classroom and in competition as she was recognized as a member of the 2018 Missouri Valley Conference Scholar-Athlete team, it was announced in a release by the conference office on Tuesday.
Scholar-Athlete honors require athletes to meet performance standards, as they must finish among the first 20 runners at the conference championship and hold at least a cumulative 3.2 GPA and be a sophomore in athletic and academic standing to earn a spot on the MVC Scholar-Athlete team.
