TERRE HAUTE, Ind. - Recording a 13-stroke improvement in the second round, the University of Evansville rocketed up the leaderboard on the final day of competition at the Indiana State Spring Invite at the Country Club of Terre Haute in Terre Haute, Ind.
The Aces carded a 299 as a team on Monday, the second-lowest round of any team in the second round, helping move Evansville up three spots into a tie for sixth with a two-day total of 611 (312-299). Cal Baptist captured the team title at the invite, tallying a 578 (291-287) as a team, earning a seven-stroke advantage over second-place Youngstown State.
