In the second installment of Aces Insider, Kyle Freeland reflects on his time at the University of Evansville. From a rough sophomore campaign to being a top 10 pick in the 2014 MLB draft, it was a winding road for Freeland.
It was a worthwhile trip, though, as Freeland won 10 games and posted a 1.90 ERA in 2014 as UE won the MVC Regular Season Championship.
We caught up with him to discuss his rise while the Colorado Rockies were in St. Louis earlier this week.
