CARBONDALE, IL. – After over a month break, the University of Evansville swimming and diving teams return to the pool for their meet against Southern Illinois and Illinois State in Shea Natatorium on Friday.
The break proved beneficial for Sarah Jahns, who won three events and set two new school records in the pool on Friday. She already held the program best time in the 200-yard back stroke but bested that time to improve to 2:00.96. Jahns also took the top spot in program history in the 1000-yard freestyle (10:14.99), while also finishing first in the 500-yard freestyle with a time of 5:02.
